Digigirlz Camp LA – Photos!

Digigirlz Camp at New Horizons, Culver City, LA in August was a blast! Activities included demos/samples using SmallBasic, Expression Blend 3, Kodu, Windows 7, Windows Live – Movie Maker and Lego Mindstorms. We had terrific speakers to inspire Digigirlz participants and one of them was Curtis Wong, Principal Researcher from Microsoft Research; who introduced his recent project – the World Wide Telescope, which is pretty amazing! The World Wide Telescope gives you the chance to explore and understand the Universe with millions of high-resolution quality ground and space based imagery.

If you want to check out all the cool stuff, we have been working on, the presentation files are already available for download on SkyDrive in the Digigirlz 2009 Sessions folder!

You can find more information about Digigirlz Camp in LA on Lynn Langit’s blog. All event pictures are posted in the photo album LA_August2009 and if you search on flickr for digigirlz, you will come across fantastic pictures as well! By the way; did you know, that we generally have professional photographers that capture Digigirlz events? Some girls got first-hand photography tips from the Pros!

Digigirlz events are surely a source of inspiration and creativity; don’t you think? 🙂
